From Design to Long-Term Performance.

The delivery and installation of a HydRO system are carried out within a project-specific lead time. This depends on factors such as system configuration, capacity, and any customer-specific adaptations. An indicative project schedule is always agreed upon in advance. On average, the installation time is approximately three weeks.

The sizing of the buffer tanks depends on the incoming hourly and daily flow rates, as well as on the composition of the wastewater, particularly the COD load.

The temperature of the process water is generally equal to the temperature of the incoming wastewater, with only limited variations depending on the process.

The installation generates two waste streams:

* Purified water that is released as a effluent stream from the Reverse Osmosis process.

* The biological sludge, which is transported to a licensed sludge processor.
   Optionally, the sludge can be dewatered prior to disposal.

Yes, remote monitoring and control are possible. The setup is project-dependent and can be configured so that internal remote access within the plant is provided free of charge.
In addition, three users can log in via the “My Installation” platform for external monitoring and follow-up.

Yes. Each installation is equipped as standard with local data storage for up to 7 days.
Data storage can be extended to 3 years (or longer) via a dashboard, subject to a license.

The average energy consumption is approximately 3 kWh per m³ of treated wastewater.

Every site is unique, which is why HydRO systems are designed to flexibly adapt to your space and operational requirements. A single HydRO unit can process up to 200 m³ of wastewater per day, while total system capacity is fully scalable—from 100 to 600 m³ per day—by installing multiple units in a parallel configuration

The customer is trained to perform basic maintenance independently. In addition, we offer customized maintenance contracts through which maintenance can be partially or fully taken over.

Quality Assurance

HydRO Global Solution guarantees that the produced water complies with the minimum requirements of Directive (EU) 2020/2184 on the quality of water intended for human consumption.

Based on sampling performed immediately after installation of the HydRO water treatment system, measured parameters do not exceed the limit values defined in this directive. The produced water is therefore classified as drinking water.

For use as drinking water for human consumption, remineralisation is required. For applications such as washing processes, remineralisation is not necessary.

Drinking water pipelines are strictly separated from non-drinking water pipelines.

All materials used (pipes, filters, pumps, and valves) comply with regulations for materials in contact with food.

The system is equipped with microfiltration and ultrafiltration upstream of the RO installation to provide maximum mechanical protection.

The integrity of the RO membranes is continuously monitored via conductivity measurements. In the event of damage or perforation, conductivity increases, after which the permeate flow is automatically shut off and the system goes into alarm.

The installation is maintained by qualified personnel who meet all applicable regulatory and training requirements.

Chemicals dosed into the permeate are food grade and suitable for applications in the food industry.

For post-RO disinfection, peroxide or another approved biocide is primarily used.
